Gay Scene
The gay scene in Liverpool is not so varied or wild as you will find on Manchester or Leeds, but there are interesting places where the scene is great. For instance, the Masquerade, at the Cumberland Street, is one of the most popular gay bars in the city with a great ambience and occasional cabaret shows. One of the oldest gay bars in the city is The Lisbon on the corner of Stanley Street and Victoria Street, its main attraction is the legendary pool table. Another traditional bar is The Curzon on Temple Lane just off Victoria Street; it's a particular favourite with the men.
